Senior NPD Technologist

An exciting Senior NPD position has arisen with an outstanding business within the chilled convenience sector to help drive their innovations strategy for their pioneering products. As a vital member of the department you will report to the NPD Controller and be responsible for leading a small Innovations team. As well as leading and supporting your team you will liaise with key retail customers to drive concept development and influence innovation in a very fast paced product category. You'll apply your market knowledge and passion for food into inspirational ideas that will enhance the existing range of products as well as using your creative flair to develop new concepts. You will be accountable for implementing long term strategic development initiatives to ensure that the product ranges keep ahead of major competitors.
 
Suit a creative and commercially focussed Senior Technologist ready to take on a new challenge in an exciting and innovative category. You will have a food science / technology qualification and experience of working in a similar development role for a food manufacturer in the chilled sector where you have gained knowledge of all aspects of NPD and really honed your retail customer management skills. Strong enthusiasm and great presentation, communication and interpersonal skills are essential along with the ability to motivate and support your team’s development.
