Planning professional with experience in supply or demand planning wanted by highly regarded, successful and growing ethnic food manufacturer.
Reporting to the Forecasting and Supply Manager you will be responsible for managing the sales forecast process for a wide range of SKU's, whilst also assisting in the implementation of a new forecast planning system. This will require a proactive approach to improve forecasting accuracy whilst implementing the new system in parallel.
Achieving the right outcomes will be dependent on building effective relationships with key internal customers including the Sales and Forecasting Teams, the wider Forecast & Supply Team including Supply Planners and Production Schedulers right across the business, including other sites. Other key internal relationships with Purchasing, Customer Services and Logistics are vital too.
Success in the role will require a "hands on" approach from someone with a "can do" attitude, able to work closely with and influence peers, engendering a collaborative approach with other departments helping the forecasting team to maximise the benefits of an integrated forecast and demand planning system. Great IT skills are essential.
You are likely to be working in a forecasting role as a supply or demand planner and have experience in a culturally diverse FMCG food manufacturing environment, ideally having additional experience in new system implementation. Maintaining effective internal relationships requires exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a positive approach to team work. You will have an analytical approach and be comfortable working with numerical data, able to spot inconsistencies and read trends even from incomplete figures. Attention to detail and accuracy with a drive for results are key attributes for the successful candidate.
Salary to £32,000 for the right candidate, with a full benefits package including generous pension contribution, private health and 25 days holiday + BH's.
