This is an exciting position working for an innovative and friendly manufacturer in East Anglia. The team are dedicated to creating new and exciting concepts which are carefully created for and supplied to the food service industry.
THE ROLE
The key day-to-day tasks of the Production Supervisor / Manager include:
Daily supervision of the fast paced production unit, ensuring lines are running smoothly and in accordance with production plans Ensure that the unit effectively meets departmental objectives with the maximum efficiency at the minimum cost to the highest quality standards Effectively manage the team and encourage team performance through open and effective communication Ensure that all production activities are in conformance with the product specification, i.e. continuously manage the quality of the product and materials to comply with specification Ensure that all quality parameters and procedures are complied with and that all products manufactured meet the required standards and specifications THE CANDIDATE
Key attributes of the Production Supervisor / Manager include:
Experience of working in a production supervisory role within food manufacturing Background of working with high risk prepared / dairy products essential HACCP training and food hygiene certificate or similar qualifications essential The role is based in East Anglia and is paying £18,000 - £25,000 depending on experience.
