This is a key role on the senior management team with responsibility for Technical, Hygiene, HACCP, Quality and all aspects of final product compliance. You will manage the site technical team to ensure products are manufactured to standards that meet agreed specifications.
Ideally degree qualified in a Food Science/Technology discipline, you should have extensive knowledge of BRC and HACCP, with the ability to see a much wider picture and to focus on long term goals and achievements.
Coupled with your technical knowledge and capabilities, you will have strong leadership and people management skills and the ability to engage and develop a team. Driving a quality culture throughout the operation is high on the list priorities, so your ability to influence your peers and stakeholders at all levels will be a major success factor.
