They have four major sites: rice milling and packing; canning of edible oils and packaging of other products takes place in Enfield, Middlesex; and value added products and noodles in Manchester.
My client are seeking an excellent forecast planner to create forecasts in close collaboration with sales and marketing.
Planning, data analysis and being an IT super user are the skills that will set you apart from the crowd and are what we require in a Forecast Manager for our market leading client. With an instantly recognisable and trusted brand name our client is seeking a candidate to join them who can improve sales forecasting and planning to ensure they continue to stand out. This is a new role due to business growth and development.
You will be analytical, numerically sound, and ideally have good sound experience of forecasting statistical algorithms.
You will manage the sales forecasting process and manage the data to make the planning process as accurate as possible. This will include the development and application of statistical forecasting tools. You will lead a team and work to supply chain KPIs. Communicating clearly with the commercial teams and analysing market data accurately will be crucial.
You will have planning experience in an food or FMCG environment, ideally with experience of an international supply chain. With strong IT skills, you will be classed as a super user and expert. Experience of Excel, Access or SAP at this level together with some statistical forecasting experience is ideal.
