Automation/SCADa and Engineering Specialist

Salary - £48,000 + Company Benefits
Shifts - 4 (2 days, 2 nights) on 4 off.
Our client are currently recruiting for a specialist to join there engineering department. Currently in a position where PLC Programming is apart of your day to day role you will also be flexible enough to work on the electrical maintenance within the factory.
Responsible for the development, maintenance and breakdown repair activities in order to ensure that all equipment in the factory process and packing areas are operating to the required standards in order to meet the demands of the business. Electrical engineering, control systems, PLC systems and automation, form the backbone of skills essential for this role. Optimising and improving the performance of all site based engineering equipment will be a core purpose of this role. From time to time you may also be asked to perform other duties in other areas of the business.

Rapid diagnostic fault finding, problem solving, improving, value adding, high quality repair, knowledge transfer, worthwhile effort, beneficial rewards and safety are all critical elements expected from this role.

You will need at minimum of 3 years experience working in engineering within a FMCG company, machine building or software engineering.
HNC/HND (Engineering/Technical) is a minimum qualification required for this role,
