Due to continued growth and investment this major blue chip manufacturer, within the heavy industry sector, are seeking to add a high calibre Operations Manager / Production Manager to an already successful team.
You will come from an existing Operational / Production Management role within a Chemical, Petrochemical, Nuclear or Energy industry and have a proven track record of working in fast paced demanding complex industrial environments
Working on a shift basis you will report into the Plant Manager you will be the link from the shop floor to the Senior Management team, so it is imperative that you should have exceptional communication skills as you will work with other technicians and maintenance specialists to ensure maximum production and environmental compliance. A natural leader you will have an inquisitive mind and will constantly challenge the status quo in order to continually drive improvements. As inherent in any management role you will be continually developing your team to ensure there is a genuine succession plan.
