My client is one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of chilled food products and maintains their market position by continually delivering excellent results and surpassing customer expectations. Due to an internal restructure at the site, we are now looking to recruit an experienced production manager to join the sites senior management team.
Reporting into the General Manager, you will be responsible for motivating and managing a team of 120 production staff managed through 4 direct reports. You will be tasked with implementing and driving a range of challenging KPI’s and implementing Lean Manufacturing techniques across the site. A key aspect of the role will also be to work alongside the commercial departments and liaise with key customers during site visits.
The successful candidate will be an established production manager with at least 3 years experience within a food manufacturing environment. We are looking for a high energy individual with the ability to inspire both colleagues and customers to help drive the business to the next level. You will have a proven track record of delivering results in a fast paced environment and driving efficiencies through continuous improvement.
