Your key role will be to perform electrical and mechanical maintenance of all dairy process and packaging equipment, including general building maintenance and utilities supply. The role will be performed in a safe manner, whilst focusing on Continuous Improvement, Quality, H&S, Wastage and Environment to ensure compliance and the optimum effectiveness of operations.
There are 4 key areas of focus:
- Customer Care
- Planned Preventative Maintenance
- Health, Safety, Environment and Quality activities, including Root Cause Analysis
- Continuous Improvement
Knowledge & Experience:
- Good numeracy, literacy and communication skills
- Experience with PLC
- Firm working experience in a FMCG environment
- Working knowledge of HSE requirements
- Good understanding of Lean practices
- Completion of a recognised apprenticeship (electrical and/or mechanical)
This position works to an 8 hour shift pattern: 06:00-14:20, 14:00:22:20, and 22:00-06:20, offering an average of 39 hours of work a week.
