I am recruiting for a Shift Manager vacancy based in the south east of England for a large food manufacturer.
The main responsibilities are to manage shifts ensuring efficient production whilst maintaining the highest standards of quality and service to our customers and guidance and support to direct reports
Specific Responsibilities:
•Ensuring delivery on targets (waste, changeovers and running times)
•Management of shift to ensure labor and material budgets are adhered to.
•Management of labor to ensure correct utilization.
•Proactive management of breakdowns.
•Waste management.
•Control of PPE on shifts
•Ensuring enforcement of PPE through area supervisors.
•Accident investigations
•Dealing with incidents – incident report compliance.
Candidate Requirements:
•The ability to organize and prioritize your work load
•FMCG experience
•The ability to work with database functions basic excel documents
•Experience of handling difficult individuals and poor performance levels.
•Performance driven bias for action approach
Ideally you will have some previous experience of shift management / ops management.
Salary range- £30,000 - £35,0000, working 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
