Job title: Specifications Co-ordinator
Reporting to: Specifications Manager
My client is one of the largest food manufacturers in the UK
Salary: £30k + benefits
Summary of job scope:
The timely completion of finished product specifications for retailer own brand products manufactured on site, ensuring legal brand and retailer compliance using retailer web based systems and Hamilton Grant system to meet critical launch time.
Key accountabilities
- Set up retailer specifications for all new products using retailer web-based systems with up to date and timely product information
- Active and direct involvement with site packaging, development, QA and retailer technologists
- Produce ingredient lists, nutritional information etc. for pack copy (including any recipe changes)
- Check artwork against pack copy information and check legality of on pack information
- Submit recipe applications
- Maintain ASDA, Tesco and Sainsbury’s scorecards on web-based systems at periodic intervals
Ideal candidate will have experience of:
- Using retailer web based specifications systems such as: TTL, Sainsbury’s Inspire, ASDA Aspect
- The individual retailer gate stage process and SPIC
- Working on Hamilton Grant
