Situated in the heart of Cheshire, Frank Roberts and Sons Ltd is a family owned independent Bakery incorporating Roberts Bakery and the Pastry Case, engaging in the manufacture and sale of high quality bakery products. The Pastry Case division is the UK’s largest manufacturer of hand decorated biscuits alongside other bakery goods. We supply all of the high street retailers and strive to be the supplier of choice through core competencies in private label manufacture. We currently have an exciting vacancy for a Shift Manager.
You will be responsible for leading a team of Shift Supervisors and effectively utilise resources in order to achieve the operational performance targets within budget. Promote and demonstrate the company’s strategic goals in relation to people, leading an empowered, informed and motivated team, ensuring targets are met, manufacturing, quality and H&S standards are maintained.
You will have excellent planning and organising skills, along with strong customer focus. A good team player, you will be flexible, have good interpersonal skills, and be committed to developing yourself and your team.
Experience in FMCG environment, preferably food or similar manufacturing. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Management or Manufacturing Operations.
Working 6-2pm / 2-10pm Monday – Friday with some occasional Saturday and night shift cover
We can offer a competitive salary of £31,092 per annum, company pension and other benefits.
