This is an exciting & fast paced Product Development Manager role in Food - where you will be responsible for leading your team to deliver numerous new product launches to a Multiple Retailer, Manufacturing and Food Service customer base.
The company is a leading speciality food importer with a vast range of products sourced from Europe and the rest of the world including South America and the Far East.

*Firstly you'll be working with major retailer customers with high expectations.
*Responsible for the management of the NPD team, the effective introduction of new products and developing an innovation programme for our brands
*Responsible for delivering branded development projects on budget and on time for all divisions.
*You will take responsibility for effective project management of the development process from concept to launch.

*Especially in the creation of new and exciting products for the major supermarkets. In this role you'll need to demonstrate your pedigree in the development sector and your ability to excite your retailer clients with performance that exceeds expectations.
*Your people skills will need to be top notch as your team need direction and support, your customers need great products on time and to tight specifications and your category team need confidence in npd performance.
*We would expect a food science degree or equivalent, significant retailer focused food manufacturer with team management responsibilities and a level of enthusiasm that's infectious and inspiring!
