This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding, small yet successful food manufacturing organisation offering an unparalleled challenging role. Supplying a range of chilled and frozen products to the major retail multiples, our client has invested significantly to support their continued growth and ambitious development plans.
Your initial goal will be to optimise the company’s investment, playing a significant part in continuing their strategic growth plans. You will be directly responsible for all site operations with a particular focus on delivering continued manufacturing efficiency in a timely and profitable manner. A key role within the senior management team you will be tasked with providing inspirational leadership to a highly committed team. Your brief will be to drive efficiencies and deliver improved performance and profitability, focusing on the key result areas of quality, output and cost. This is very much a ‘hands on’ operations role, in a fast-pace, dynamic pro-active environment. Leadership, mentoring and daily delivery of the production plan are vital elements of this role.
To be considered for this role you will have management experience in a chilled food manufacturing environment. You will be a proven Manager, who can demonstrate a successful track record within the food manufacturing industry. An excellent communicator, you will be a proven people manager capable of delivering change through your team, a strong eye for detail and focused whilst prioritising your tasks to contribute to the wider business objectives.
