Senior Production Manager

A challenging yet very rewarding opportunity has arisen at one of the UK's most appealing food organisations. Responsible for producing delicious goods for some of the UK's largest brands. This is a role which requires the leadership and motivation of staff at multiple levels and significant stakeholder management across multiple functions.

The role encompasses c.£30M budgetary responsibility and approximately 200 heads including Operators, Team Leaders and supporting functions. You will provide effective delivery of the annual production plan.

- Ensure the most cost-effective production process, while meeting the production schedule with best quality at lowest possible costs in order to achieve maximum customer satisfaction. Ensure that manufacturing unit achieves and/or exceeds line productivity and efficiency targets. Responsible for overall lines' efficiency, yield, rework, overweight, scrap, line manning and production volume.
- Ensure that all products produced are complying with product specifications. Ensure that all quality (e.g., Hazard Analytical Critical Control Points (HACCP), Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)) and safety regulations are in place, monitored and followed by corrective actions.
