THE JOB reports to the Technical Manager and is responsible for ensuring the quality and legality of all products produced on the day shift, ensuring business conformance to BRC, HACCP and GMP.
Main responsibilities would include:
*Ensuring microanalysis is carried out to schedule and collate / analyse results and act on them accordingly
*Manage customer complaint process
*Compiling monthly technical reports
*Coordinating and chairing daily QA product panels with the site
*Ensuring site Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards are maintained
*Undertaking weekly GMP audits of the site
*Maintaining the technical training records.
*Qualified to degree standard in a food science relevant discipline you will have a proven ability to successfully manage and motivate a team of people.
*Your IT skills will be first class, you will be a natural administrator and champion the quality message throughout the business
*You will have worked in a food business that supply into major retailer clients.
*You will understand the high pressure nature of the food manufacturing business and will be able to consistently perform to the standards necessary.
