My client is currently looking for an Operations Manager to come on board and drive the business forward. Due to recent investment within the business this role will enable the business to make the next step forward. Responsible for the performance of the operations function as measured by core metrics of safety, performance & people management.
-Lead & manage operations team to deliver on Core KPI's
-Area ownership – capacity/volume, process control, housekeeping, flow, stock
-Manage key interfaces / support functions to enable success (technical, maintenance, planning, logistics, finance)
-Lead the Continuous Improvement activity for the areas – supporting core KPIs
-People management and development / training
-Management & reporting on production plan performance
-Establishment of standardised production planning processes & systems
-Leadership, management and development of a cross functional team.
-Interpersonal & operational management skills.
-Experience of short shelf life products
-Continuous Improvement Initiatives(Prize delivered)
-Adherence to Lean Operations deliverables.
-Quality - As per quality metrics
-Efficiency – As per efficiency metrics
-Safety – As H&S metrics
-Cost – Budget & Labour
