THE NPD TECHNOLOGIST ROLE
*Working as a key member of the development team you will be responsible for all aspects of product development for specific high profile Accounts - Retail/QSR/Foodservice. To include Brand & Own label Products.
*You will also be responsible for managing and maintaining the NPD process from concept to launch, benchmarking, covering blue sky innovation, recipe construction, product re-development, cost reduction, artwork approval, specification writing.
THE CANDIDATE
We're looking for someone who has retailer / foodservice experience - ideally 2 years industrial experience. Chilled product knowledge is preferable.
*You will need bags of enthusiasm and will consider yourself a key contributor to the success of the business.
*Ideally you will have experience of national retailer online specification systems.
*You'll be able to multi task, meet deadlines and be a great team player.
*Customers have high expectations of the company and you'll have the kind of strong work ethic that generates confidence and wins work!
