The Site manufactures condiments, table sauces, herb and spice pastes and meal solutions from a relatively new purpose built factory. The site has recently expanded further and is continuing to increase its' portfolio of products and customers.
Responsibilities:
-The completion of Retailer web-based finished product specifications.
-The completion of Ingredients Customers' finished product specifications
-The checking and approval of Artwork and packaging
-To create factory floor recipe and packaging specifications
-To control recipe and packaging data on the MRP system and ensure that this data is correct in relation to customer and factory floor specifications
-Respond to Customer enquiries
-To carry out internal audits
-Assist in the development of the Company's Quality Management System
-Take part in regular taste panels
-Assist in absence cover for QA Technologist & Lab Technician
-To deputise in the absence of the Technical Manager
Requirements:
-A food related degree with experience in a Technical / QA position
-Previous experience of internal auditing
-Previous experience of completing specifications for the major retailers would be beneficial
-Additional training in labelling legislation would be beneficial
-The correct applicant will be self motivated and able to organise a busy workload.
