Maintaining a strong portfolio of delicious breakfast time goods, this organisation has continued to climb into a comfortable market position. Due to an increase in demand the organisation now seeks a Technical Assistant as the latest member of the team.
Reporting into the Technical Director, you will be responsible for assisting with all technical, quality assurance and hygiene aspects of dairy manufacturing. You will be responsible for building relationships with customers through face to face meetings. Ensuring all audits, raw materials and finished product specifications are to an unbeatably high standard. Despite classed as a Technical Assistant, this role will have some responsibilities passed on from the Technical Director, carving a managerial succession plan. Successful candidate will have the ability to drive change and customer satisfaction through continuous analysis of raw materials and quality issues, in turn helping deliver the business to their next stage of growth. Having the ability to follow in the footsteps of the Technical Director and solely manage during his absence.
Candidates will have a thorough understanding of HACCP, BRC, quality systems and specification systems. Strong experience of leading an organisation through BRC or thorough hands on experience in within an intense manufacturing environment is critical. Experience within the dairy or chilled sector is preferable but candidates from a variety of backgrounds are welcomed to apply. A degree in a Food Science or an equivalent food qualification would be advantageous. Key to success within this thriving organisation is a strong, resilient and passionate personality, if you wish to be considered for the role you must portray your ambitious side. You will be a leader with good people skills, confident that you can manage teams and driven to take your next step into management.
