Our client is an international food group with an ever-increasing UK presence. Having achieved significant growth over the past 3 years, the company really is going from strength to strength. Due to a recent change, the business now seeks a high calibre Technical Assistant.
A key member of the Technical team, the role will be diverse, with the ultimate goal of ensuring that the required standards of product quality are upheld throughout all processes. Assisting in the HACCP plan and implementing any necessary changes in accordance with the BRC Global Standard, you will carry out improvement activities to ensure that the Quality Management System is continually effective. Responding to customer complaints, you will also ensure the high quality of raw materials and packaging, as well as carrying out the required testing for NPD projects.
To be considered for this role, you should have a qualification in Food Science or similar, as well as HACCP qualifications. Having worked in a food manufacturing environment for at least 3 years, you will a confident communicator and be used to working in a customer facing role. Having been involved in BRC initiatives, you will also (ideally) have experience of auditing and be able to use various computer software packages to a good standard.
