My client are a Global food manufacturer who have multiple sites throughout the UK, Europe and the rest of the world and they are looking for a new Technical Manager to join there business at their site in the Midlands.
You will be responsible for Technical, Quality and Hygiene functions within the site and you will form part of the Senior Management Team. You will liaise with personnel at all levels in various departments within the business and will have regular communication with customers and suppliers.
Ideally you will have:
HNC/D Degree in Food Science subject
Thorough understanding of HACCP, Quality Management Systems, certification systems such as BRC/AIB/cert ID.
Knowledge of UK and EU food legislation
Experienced in supplier quality assurance
Sound knowledge of UK retailer technical standards
Good managerial training and presentation skills
Computer literate
