Head of Technical and NPD

If so, i am currently recruiting for a new position working for a large food manufacturer based in the East Midlands area who are looking to recruit a Head of Technical and NPD position.

Job Purpose:
To effectively manage the smooth and efficient delivery of new and existing products ensuring the highest standards of food safety and innovation, also ensuring all technical compliance on site.  


Management Structure:

Managing Director

Head of NPD and Technical

Technical Manager. Development Technologists x 2. Junior Technologist. Trainee Technologist. Process Technologist.


The Successful Candidate will be able to demonstrate:

-Proven experience as a technical manager in a similar prepared food environment with the ability to manage both the NPD and the technical function at a strategic level.  
-Possess a strong technical management background gained within a chilled high care food manufacturing or retail environment.
-Proven track record of people management with the ability to develop their team to build strong working relationships with customers.  

Salary - £55,000 - £65,000
