Senior Packaging Manager

Senior Packaging manager required to work on global innovation projects in a FMCG environment. Running a variety of concurrent R&D projects with the full support of a great team of packaging technologists you will be influencing the packaging innovations across the global business. The Senior Packaging manager will be responsible for identifying and developing innovative packaging solutions that will reflect the broader business innovation vision. You`ll develop and lead the packaging strategy for your categories and you`ll have global responsibilities within for your categories so you ability to project manage and deliver result for key stakeholders will be critical. Working closely with suppliers will be important and you`ll need to network from research through to equipment suppliers to ensure market leading packaging solutions. You`ll need to coach and mentor your team to ensure their own potential is met. We`re seeking a candidate with strong packaging or project management experience within the food manufacturing or associated industries (FMCG). A background in packaging design or development is ideal and you`ll need to show exceptional commercial and project management skills. Experience of managing packaging solutions globally or on a regional basis would be advantageous. Importantly you`ll have a track record of growing and developing teams and be able to show how you`ve coached teams to reach their potential. You`ll be experience in managing expectations from your internal customers and be solutions orientated, able to be challenged and open to being challenged.
