JOB TITLE: NPD/ New Product Development Manager

COMPANY INFORMATION:
Our client is a supplier of high quality foods to the Retail and Food Service Sector. Due to exciting growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced NPD Manager to join their existing team.
ROLE INFORMATION (KEY RESPONSIBILITIES):
As an NPD Manager your key responsibilities are:
- Responsibility for the development of EPD and NPD
- Produce samples for internal and customer presentations
- Take ownership of Project Manager NPD projects ensuring efficient and timely completion of tasks and ultimate launch of projects
- Source new raw materials in line with preferred supplier and purchasing strategy
- Work closely with the divisions across the business to achieve targets
- Effectively manager the relationship with suppliers and introduce prospective suppliers to the company
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers
YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
As an NPD Manager you must have the following:
· Experience of working with the FMCG/ Food Manufacturing Sector
· Food/ Science based Degree or equivalent
· Major multiple retailer experience
· Passionate about food
· Exceptionally well developed interpersonal skills
· Experience of managing both internal and external relationships successfully
· Strong commercial acumen
· Understanding of food science
