A recent review of the company structure has resulted in the need to appoint a Development Manager to oversee and manage the Product Development team.
Integral to this role will be to manage and motivate your team, to deliver significant growth across a dedicated category/range. A key strand to this role will be to ensure the consistent delivery of innovative, high quality product ranges which reflect and adhere to the company's brand values. By understanding the needs of your customer base, you will direct your team to work closely with a range of supplier's, who are trusted to deliver on both quality and price. Working cross-functionally with the sales, marketing and technical teams, you will ensure compliance with all company and food industry standards.
Educated to degree level in a Food related discipline, you will currently hold a senior development role within either a food manufacturing or retailer environment. A true leader, you will possess a track record of inspiring teams to create & develop innovative products which maintain brand integrity. With an innate understanding of consumer tastes and preferences, you will react swiftly to identify trends and deliver products which exceed expectations. A firm grasp of technical constraints coupled with costing experience will be a pre-requisite.
