As the NPD Manager your food project management skills are exemplary, reporting to the Product Controller, you will have day-to-day responsibility to managing designated projects within the NPD department. You are comfortable leading from the front, as you can demonstrate to your team and colleagues a thorough knowledge and experience of the food innovation process (particularly phases1to 3) from accepting the client's brief (retail and foodservice) to the post launch review.
You're a successful NPD Manager with a minimum of 5 years experience within NPD/Innovation, your proven track record of sole responsibility of writing customer recipe specifications (online and off line), speaks volumes, previous experience of liaising and communicating with a variety of internal and external key stakeholders e.g. NPD Managers, Product Controllers, Manufacturing Managers, has given you a good understanding of plant operations, their operational limitations and how these limitations may affect the development process of 'live' projects, all this whilst keeping an watchful eye on your budget.
Degree 2:1 Food related subject
5 + years experience NPD process (phases 1 to 3)
Branded label products experience
Top 4 grocer and foodservice experience
Writing customer recipes specifications (on line and offline)
People management experience
Willingness to travel other manufacturing sites
