FOOD CERTIFICATION MANAGER

NSF is a US based company and has its UK Head Office in Long Hanborough, Oxford.  We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is flexible in their approach and willing to embrace a fast-paced, ever changing environment.

The Role

• Providing technical and quality support for international standards BRC, IFS to the international auditor network
• Development of technical and operational aspects of international standards
• Management of the BRC and IFS certification process for an international network of in-country offices and auditors
• Interfacing with scheme owners and customers on technical issues
• Management of a technical support and certification team


Qualifications and key skills

• Degree in food or bioscience-related discipline
• Lead Auditor and HACCP qualifications
• Good understanding of the operation of third party certification schemes preferably within the Food and Agricultural sectors
• Understanding through training or experience of the operation of Quality Management Systems eg. EN 45011 or ISO 17021
• Strong commercial awareness, enthusiasm and strong work ethic, together with a desire to take responsibility to make things happen
• Practical auditing experience
• Practical food industry experience including positions of responsibility in food safety and quality management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Demonstrable organisational skills
