Operating from a state of the art purpose built factory in Northamptonshire, This business is renowned for supplying retailers and foodservice with the very highest quality products. As a direct supplier of products to multiple retailers providing products sold through their consumer stores they operate at the cutting edge of technology and are recognised as leading experts in their field.
Reporting to the FSQ Manager, the Quality Manager is both second in command from a site technical perspective and the primary retailer contact. Your prime role is to ensure that the written standards and expectations of customer are translated in to meaningful and sustainable practical delivery of quality and safety. Your role is to not only be a leader for your quality team but an approachable and respected subject matter expert by your manufacturing colleagues. Your ability to share information and empower colleagues relies on your ability to work through others, providing them with clear boundaries and contextual training. In this way your skills ensure that the business operates within defined boundaries with a very clear understanding of why they are there.
You are an experienced quality professional with demonstrable food operational experience and a current working knowledge of UK BRC & retailer standards & operational requirements. An individual with proven management and motivational skills, you are comfortable entering into debate with peers to engender understanding and commitment to technical standards and requirements. You can lead and develop a quality department to provide a least cost QA approach and can create lasting and mutually respectful relationships with customers and enforcement authorities. You are an individual who works hard to maintain a current working knowledge of enforcement and customer standards. Your proactive and professional approach, along with your natural enthusiasm will have you leading by example, effectively communicating at all levels and building strong working relationships across the organisation and with our customers.
Having previous experience in a quality management role within a food manufacturing environment, you will be looking to join a company where you can develop, implement and maintain the standards expected by the customer.
