This is a fantastic opportunity to work for an established and well respected food manufacturer supplying chilled products to the major multiples. Reporting to the Process Manager you’ll be assisting the wider product development process, coordinating and conducting factory trials to ensure products are produced to the highest levels of efficiency and quality in line with customer and company requirements. You’ll be accountable for the accurate documentation of all trial data from shelf life and organoleptic testing whilst submitting samples for customers and microbiological evaluations. You’ll take ownership of planning and organising resources to achieve the day to day delivery of trials in line with project timescale as well as carrying out ongoing process validation to ensure due diligence requirements are met. In addition you’ll work closely with NPD teams to coordinate pre-production and launch preparations and post launch evaluations, applying corrective actions where necessary to drive continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
We are looking for a talented food graduate who ideally has experience of product launches gained from a chilled food manufacturing environment. You will have a good working knowledge of technical procedures and HACCP as well as strong project management skills with the ability to drive continuous improvement. First class communication and relationship building skills are essential as are strong organisation and prioritisation for achieving results in this role.
