One of the roles is based at our Blackburn site and the other at our Leicester operation (Fox’s Confectionery), both roles report to the Operations Director.
Big Bear is the home of some of the nation’s favourite confectionery brands, as well as being one of the foremost suppliers to the UK confectionery market.
These are key roles for the business, in which, the successful candidate, will take full control and responsibility of all technical, quality, hygiene and compliance challenges. There are exciting plans for the future and you will be joining the business at a pivotal stage in our growth.
You will have experience of working with major UK retailers (own label products) and a strong track record of leading major retailer audits and attaining high standards and excellence in this area.
You will also have an exceptional working knowledge of BRC Version 6 (including grade A attainment in your current / previous roles) and HACCP.
It is essential that you can demonstrate experience of leading and managing teams and implementing / improving systems and procedures, which meet customer, legal and best practice standards.
