A need for a development professional has now become apparent as key to the business’ continued growth. With a strong product portfolio of both branded and own label products, the need for creative and consumer-focused products to satisfy the retailer brand requirement is delivering new challenges to the business.
Reporting to the Head of Development, you will lead and manage the Development Team, be responsible for the creation of a ‘Centre of Excellence’ and be accountable for all aspects of the concept development function. Liaising across all departments and having a natural association with the Marketing team, you will be comfortable in establishing a development discipline both inside the business and with key customers.
A natural leader now wishing to further your potential, you will have at least 3 years experience within the development function of a Food or FMCG business. Already enjoying significant stature and credibility with your retail customers and an unusually impressive knowledge of the major food multiple retailers with which you have worked, you will have an enviable reputation within your sector. Presenting and demonstrating your understanding and knowledge of the market dynamics will be a key facet of your professional make-up.
