With a good range of ingredients to offer, the company sells to manufacturers across the UK, particularly in the meat and ready meal sectors. Offering bespoke blends, many of which are incredibly innovative, the business has a strong reputation and a growing turnover to reflect this. Now, as sales continue to grow within the existing customer base, we are looking for a Technical Sales Manager to focus on developing new business opportunities.
Home-based, you will be out in front of customers as much as possible, understanding their needs to then sell back solutions. You will be supported by a good NPD team, able to react quickly to opportunities. Maybe your customer requires a healthier alternative, maybe they want to extend their product range with an all-natural offering, perhaps they simply need your help to offer a new and exciting flavour - whatever it is, it will be up to you to take their requirements on board and ultimately find the commercially viable solution.
We are looking for a Technical Sales Manager with experience of seasonings and blends. You must enjoy developing new business and be capable of working autonomously - a strong customer network across meat processors and ready meal manufacturers in particular would be beneficial. With a good knowledge of NPD, you'll be prepared to travel on a national basis, spending occasional nights away as required.
