My client are looking for an experienced Bakery Manager to oversee and run their site based in Glouster. My client are in need of someone who can be held accountable for the end to end management of their business, including people planning, budgeting management and managing the overall quality of produce. The role has become available due to a great deal of growth and the MD is now seeking an individual to help run the business and drive it forward. The company has 9 independent retailers where they sell 40 different products ranging from confectionary, savoury, sandwiches and baked roles. They also supply to catering businesses such as hotels, bars and pubs.
It is essential that the candidate has Chilled and Bakery experience to achieve high levels of efficiency through motivation of a skilled team. You will ensure that their products are produced to a high quality and help develop the operations by continuously improving standards of quality and customer service. This role is part hands on along with good managerial skills. You will have the ability to lead and manage all operational aspects of the Factory from materials receipt through to finished product dispatch. You will ensure all our customers are supplied on time, to correct quality, quantity and Food Safety and that all Health and Safety Standards are adhered to whilst minimising the cost of manufacturing
