We know about food!

Tulip Ltd is the UK’s leading food solutions business, supplying all major food retailers, wholesalers and foodservice companies with a wide range of quality products. We provide consumers with a comprehensive range of products in four key mega-categories - fresh meat & sausage, bacon & gammon, cooked meat, and convenience & snacking. Our farm-to-fork operation is unique in the industry, while our strategic framework puts customers, product, efficiency and people at the heart of everything we do, all with a view to growing responsibly. As part of the Danish Crown Group, the largest pork provider in Europe and the biggest exporter of pork in the world, Tulip Ltd is well-placed to deliver its ambitious plans for sustainable growth. If you have an appetite for more, this could be the role for you.

As our quality systems manager, you will be involved in a varied role including controlling the site internal audit system, assisting with external audits and customer visits, co-ordinating and compiling internal and external KPI data and ensuring all relevant raw material and in process specifications are available and up to date. In addition, you will oversee complaint quality near miss and corrective management. You will identify trends within complaints received and develop plans for complaint reduction.

The main focus of the role will be to develop and maintain a quality management system that keeps pace with changing customer and third party COP’s as well as effectively manages integral systems such as concessions, GMP / In process audits and trend identification from critical process checks.

As our new quality systems manager, you will not only have an Advanced Food Hygiene Certificate combined with an internal auditing qualification and a strong understanding of HACCP but you will have experience of working in a chilled food environment in a similar quality assurance, technical services or quality systems role. You will be able to demonstrate great attention to detail as well as being proficient in creating / implementing and reviewing new and existing process control procedures. You will also be up to speed with all relevant policies, procedures and practices - including customer specific codes of practice.
