Reporting to the site QA Manager, in this role you will be responsible for the Implementing, auditing and continual improvement of the Quality Assurance System by providing Technical Support to the Production, Maintenance and Hygiene teams. They will ensure that products are produced safely to meet customer quality standards and legislative requirements by taking corrective action in order to guarantee that products are maintained within specification.
As a key member of our team you will take part in operational and technical problem solving as well as providing specific training as required. The position will involve working in a manner that actively seeks to reduce any negative environmental impact in relation to the processes within your own area and across the wider business.
As such it is vital that you are a self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to work as a team player through cross-functional teams and departments. The successful candidate will be required to work across various shifts and additional hours during our peak production period for Christmas.
It is desirable that applicants have:
- Knowledge of HACCP, BRC Standards, Food Legislation, Food Hygiene
- Experience at this level with a FMCG environment, preferably food industry
- Advanced Diploma in Food Hygiene Management
- Intermediate Certificate in Applied HACCP Principles.
