We currently have an opportunity for a Process Team Leader in Aylesbury. Within this role you will be responsible for the daily running of raw milk intake, process and chemical storage area leading a team of 10 Intake Technicians and 10 Process Technicians. You will ensure set KPIs are achieved whilst ensuring the team works effectively across shifts. Ultimately, your role will ensure the highest quality milk products are produced in the most reliable and cost effective way.
Other main responsibilities include organising team workload on a daily basis ensuring all aspects of the department are adequately resourced to deliver output objectives and legal compliance. You will work closely other departments such as the scheduling team (milk planning and cream export), engineering and production. You will seek continuous improvements in order to achieve KPIs around efficiency, waste and costs in line with wider site objectives.
The successful candidate will be a proactive individual with the ability to motivate, coach and train a team to achieve objectives. Excellent problem solving skills are required along with a technical understanding around milk processing/dairy science, HACCP and control systems. A knowledge of continuous improvement tools and techniques are also required to drive improvements and root cause analysis projects.
