We are currently recruiting for a Process Technician to join our team at Settle Creamery.

Responsibilities
Our Process Technicians are responsible for ensuring a continuous flow of product through to our Production teams in order to achieve daily production requirements. Operating pasteurisers and other process/mixing equipment in a cost effective manner, you will liaise with our planning teams to ensure that the correct process profile is me and monitor the quality of raw materials. You will demonstrate continuous improvement measured through weekly performance indicators including the reduction of cream waste, effluent, detergents and maintenance. Process Technicians play an active role in a dynamic team so will also carry out tasks such as quality investigations and minor maintenance duties.


Skills
You will ideally have previous experience within a food manufacturing environment, be familiar with Lean tools and techniques and have awareness of both Quality Assurance and Health and Safety. Knowledge and experience of using continuous improvement methods including planned preventative maintenance, statistical process control, changeover reduction, problem solving tools and waste management preferable. You will also be able to demonstrate an awareness of HACCP, COSHH, Quality, Hygiene and Health & Safety assurance.
