Multi-Skilled Engineer

Working Hours: Total 41.25 hours (rotating shifts of 5:45-14:00, 13:45-22:00)

Key Responsibilities:

•  Maintain areas of factory
• To maintain production machines as required
• To carry out planned maintenance checks on engineering plant as required
• To work and maintain good safety standards and codes of practice
• Ensuring that all hygiene and quality standards are met at all times
• Carry out line changes promptly and to a high standard
• To carry out new electrical installations to current IEE regulations
• To carry out any other reasonable supervisory or managerial requests
• To complete all reactive maintenance requests accordingly and ensure paperwork is completed
• Deliver on personal and departmental objectives
• Contribute to improved performance on KPI's

Skills/Competencies:

• Multi/skilled with good mechanical & electrical skills and a recognised qualification (minimum level 3 apprenticeship)
• Good knowledge of general engineering, workshop and building principles
• Good level of numeracy and computer skills
• Positive 'can do' approach
• Self-motivated with an ability to work on own and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Good knowledge of health and safety and best practice awareness
