This is an exciting opportunity to join part of technical team for a rapidly developing convenience food manufacturer.

The Company

The company is a privately owned food manufacturer in South London supplying retail clients and foodservice operators with a range of chilled ready to eat products, The company ethos centres on quality and with multiple SKU’s, the importance of product integrity is imperative and therefore we wish to recruit enthusiastic, technical oriented experienced person for continuous improvement of process

The Role

Reporting directly to QA Manager or/and Technical Manager and with overall responsibility of maintain BRC standard and quality system. Assist in developing, implementing and maintaining the documentation system and quality management system. Person should be able to plan, conduct and monitor testing and inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality. Develop, recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions

The Person

You’ll be an ambitious, forward thinking individual, willing to grow with a young company. Food related degree, experience of working in a BRC accredited environment will be beneficial. Ability to approach a problem in a clear and logical manner, take ownership and being self-motivated. Flexibility and a desire to succeed are vital in this fast-paced challenging environment but the reward is very worthwhile. Shift pattern is as follows, 5am to 14.00pm and 15pm to 11pm. You will be working in either shift. There will be at least one day work at the weekend.

Lots has changed since then but one thing remains the same — we seek out the best, most delicious produce from around the country so that our sandwiches are as mouth-watering as they should be.

Terry handed over the reins to his three sons, Sam, Jack and William and we’ve been going from strength to strength ever since. All our food is handmade at our kitchens in South London with the same care, love and admiration that we’ve shown since day one. Although we’re obsessed with sandwiches, we also make everything else that you’d need for lunch; from focaccias, baguettes, wraps and whole lunch platters, to salads, fruit and snacking pots.
