Department Production Manager

We’ve got a great job for a Department Production Manager to join our client's manufacturing site. You will lead your team to successfully deliver your lines KPI’s and drive business performance.

This is a days-based role with some weekend working dependant on business needs.

As a Department Production Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day to day running of the shift. You will coach, develop and lead your team and establish a continuous improvement culture. You will work closely liaising with internal and external suppliers and will build strong, effective relationships ensuring that the site is legally compliant. You will ensure that all levels of waste are recorded, and are accurate including Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and potential efficiency; accuracy and waste recording; downtime; product weights; and staff efficiency.

About You

You will have worked as a Department Manager or Shift Manager within a production/warehouse operation, ideally across Food Manufacturing but other FMCG environments will be considered. You will have proven experience of managing and liaising with internal and external stakeholders such as. You will have the ability to challenge decisions and behaviours to ensure consistency in service to our customers and will demonstrate your ability to problem solve. We would love it if you have proven experience working as a strong leader, with the ability to build excellent relationships.
