The purpose of the role is to provide technical and administrative support for the acquisition, preparation and presentation of sensory test samples to facilitate the efficient execution of projects within the sensory analysis and testing section.
You will also provide support to Project Managers, ensure the test equipment calibration schedule is completed and also maintain the sensory test kitchen and laboratory facilities.
You will ideally be educated to a degree level or equivalent in a relevant scientific or food technology discipline and possess some experience of working in a laboratory environment. You will have a keen interest in food plus be Food Hygiene qualified and, to succeed, you will have a methodical work approach plus be practical and well organised. A full UK valid driving licence is also required due to site location.
