Learning Support Co-ordinator Technician – Food & Science Labs

The successful candidate will support the delivery of the curriculum by demonstrating practical skills and preparing equipment and resources for use by science curriculum staff, from all sections, but in particular in the specialist subject areas of Microbiology & Food Technology.  This role is essential to support the curriculum of St Lo students, for which there are 34 learners in total.

 

We require an individual who possesses a range of experience of working within the Food & Drink industry, especially within one or more of the following areas:

  • Food Chemistry
  • Microbiology
  • Quality Assurance
  • Product Development (Dairy/Cheese)

It is essential to be able to work as part of a team, but there is also a requirement to be self-motivated to complete tasks to a high standard for the benefit of our learners.
