Client Details
Our client is a multi-divisional UK food manufacturing business with a number of sites nationally.
Description
Responsible for managing all aspects of a fast paced manufacturing facility this role plays a key part in delivering continued business growth.
Other responsibilities include:
- Lead a team including Production, Engine ring and Technical department heads
- Delivery of lean manufacturing, efficiency, continuous improvement, downtime reduction, cost and waste reduction
- Ensure the highest level of Health and Safety is implemented and adhered to as well as full site legislative requirements
- Manage site CAPEX projects/budgets to maximise ROI
Profile
The successful General Manager will have a range of the following:
- Experience operating at a senior level in a faced paced manufacturing facility. Food is desirable but no essential
- Ability to lead people and improve processes to deliver against growth plan
- A strong understanding of a manufactruing sites P&L
- Charisma and drive
