This pivotal role is responsible for managing a fast paced, highly automated food manufacturing facility. With recent growth and a positive projected future this role provides the perfect opportunity to push boundaries and challenge excellence.

Client Details

Our client is a multi-divisional UK food manufacturing business with a number of sites nationally.

Description

Responsible for managing all aspects of a fast paced manufacturing facility this role plays a key part in delivering continued business growth.

Other responsibilities include:
  • Lead a team including Production, Engine ring and Technical department heads
  • Delivery of lean manufacturing, efficiency, continuous improvement, downtime reduction, cost and waste reduction
  • Ensure the highest level of Health and Safety is implemented and adhered to as well as full site legislative requirements
  • Manage site CAPEX projects/budgets to maximise ROI






Profile

The successful General Manager will have a range of the following:
  • Experience operating at a senior level in a faced paced manufacturing facility. Food is desirable but no essential
  • Ability to lead people and improve processes to deliver against growth plan
  • A strong understanding of a manufactruing sites P&L
  • Charisma and drive
