We're one of the world's biggest dairy producers. Join us as Engineering Stores Coordinator at our picturesque rural setting in North Tawton, Devon.

The Ingredients department at Arla Foods produces 18000 tons of permeate powder and 4000 tons of whey protein concentrate using membrane, evaporator and drying technology. Our customers use the products as ingredients in foods and have high demands for quality and food safety. Our raw material is based on whey, which is supplied as a bi-product from the quality cheeses made at Taw Valley.

You will be responsible for delivering spare parts and criticality assessments that make a significant contribution to the department and delivery of continuous improvements. It is your goal to help ensure that the equipment performance is at capacity and stable, updating contractor control and issues to ensure safe work. Engaging with Operators and Team Leaders to actively contribute to the Ingredients OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency), which will keep our quality, safety, hygiene and housekeeping.

You will participate in projects to define the correct parts, design requirements and take lead during commissioning to give a smooth transition into normal production.

The is a varied and challenging role which will also include covering the Engineering Team leader and PTD Project Leader during Holidays and Sickness. You are

You will have an Engineering background in manufacturing with experience of stock management and control. Food and Planned maintenance experience would be an advantage, however not essential. You will be committed and goal-oriented, with excellent communication skills and the ability to generate a dynamic cooperation across the team. You are a passionate about your work, and will understand how to apply your knowledge. Working in a fast paced environment, you will be detailed on stock parts and critical spares to ensure a smooth 24/7 operation. You will be trained in SAP PS1 and will have experience of using Microsoft office and be an Excel Superuser. Use of Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) (Ideally SAP Maintenance Module) would also be desirable.

You will be able to plan ahead, implementing improvements in a short time frame and avoiding break downs by pre-planned maintenance.
