Technical Manager

Based in London’s Park Royal, IL FORNAIO Ltd is one of the UK’s largest independent wholesale producers of high quality breads. Specialising in Ciabatta, Focaccia, individual and bespoke products, providing excellence in quality, service and variety.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Technical Manager to lead our Technical Department.

The ideal candidate would have previous experience leading BRCs audits.

Skills and Competencies:

- 5-10 years of experience in a similar role.

-Extensive practical experience of BRC accreditation, HACCP implementation, facilitation of Customer audits and quality system management.

-Excellent organisational skills.

-Hygiene, quality control training/experience

-Extensive Knowledge of UK Food industry culture

-Good understanding of customer requirements

-Presence and authority

-Ability to communicate at all levels.

-Quality Auditing qualification

-Ability to Lead, Plan, Organise, Motivate and Control personnel

-HACCP - in depth knowledge of Food Safety
