Engineering Managers Want to work for a manufacturer who is growing year on year?
I am currently recruiting for an Engineering Manager/Maintenance Manager position for one of my clients' sites in Greater Manchester/Lancashire
The Company:

This company has been growing over the years and has become the manufacturer of products supplied to most retailers.
The Role:
- Manage a team
- Implementation and improvement plans
- Take ownership of PPM system
You'll be working at the company's site in Greater Manchester/Lancashire as an Engineering Manager/Maintenance Manager. You will work towards continuous improvement of all machinery equipment and ways of working in line with business strategy. To take ownership of your engineering shift team.
Assist the engineering department in achieving its budget targets through the efficient use of materials and replacement parts. You'll support and coach relevant employees in all aspects of shared maintenance and work alongside side Engineering team. Ensure both you and your direct staff have received all the necessary training and development to enable effective capability within the team to work on all production equipment and to undertake tasks in a safe manner. This is a hands-on role so you will not mind rolling your sleeves

The Candidate:
- Recognised engineering qualification
- Manufacturing environment experience within food or FMCG
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Previous experience in multi-skilled engineering supervisory is essential, both mechanical and electrical; this could either be through an engineering apprenticeship, degree or HNC. It would be desirable if you had previous experience in Food Manufacturing / FMCG, however any experience in relevant sector will be considered. Knowledge and experience with fault diagnosis, breakdown repairs and wrapping machines is preffered.
You will have an ability to work in a team and on own initiative while supporting your colleagues if help is needed.
