Quality Manager

Nigel Wright are working with a recognised manufacturing business that are looking to recruit a Quality Manager for a site that has received significant investment over the last few years. The site is a pivotal part of both the supply chain and strategic direction of the business. Recent investment will allow the business to reduce its carbon footprint and increase the standards on site.

Role:

Reporting into the Site Manager, the Quality Manager will take ownership for the direction of the Quality Function, ensuring a consistent approach to quality standards. You will have a natural appetite for continuous improvement, and developing quality standards further to improve the quality of the product and meet KPI's.

There is also an excellent opportunity to raise the status of the site, not only from a quality perspective, but right across manufacturing. Working with an established and talented technical team, there is a real opportunity to drive improvements.

Requirements:

In order to be considered for this role, the successful candidate will demonstrate the following experience/skills:

• Degree (or equivalent) in Microbiology/Chemistry
• Qualified HACCP
• Working in a high volume food manufacturing business
• Demonstrable and proven experience leading people and driving change
