The Role

As a seasoned operations professional, you’ll lead the manufacturing site’s day-to-day operations to ensure the business runs smoothly and delivers top quality products. As a natural leader you will have a strong presence amongst your team; engaging, developing and empowering them to deliver outstanding performance. With a hands on approach, you will inspire your team to achieve amazing results whilst championing safety, process innovation and excellent customer service.  You’ll instil a culture of pride and excellence with open lines of communication at all levels.

You’ll be devising business plans to reduce operating costs as well as implementing changes to maximise profitability for the site. You’ll ensure production is running smoothly whilst managing the implementation of new production lines and making sure all equipment is maintained effectively. By evaluating and analysing the site’s performance you’ll introduce improvements, driving change to continuously enhance the company’s position within the market.

The Person

We’re looking for a passionate and ambitious leader with a proven success within food manufacturing. You’ll have outstanding people management and leadership skills with a natural flair for engaging, supporting and motivating your team. It is essential that you’re able to demonstrate significant success in driving change within a challenging environment and you’ll have a strong understanding of BRC.
