A brand new position located in Lincolnshire hub of the food industry.

Working closely with the Quality team as the Technical Officer the role will suit a technically sound character who has a great level of knowledge and well versed with the systems and processes of leading BRC, managing the internal audit schedules, monitoring and management of hygiene procedures and overall technical compliance on site.

A well-established business specialising in the fresh produce sector the role is available on a part time basis and what is great about the position and business it they offer some degree of flexibility and open minded to tailor the hours around external commitments.

The successful individual for the role will suit someone who wants to take an active part in re shaping with the business how these aspects are managed and developed for the future.

*Supporting the Quality Manager in all aspects of the Site Technical BRC compliance and customer / retailer Technical Standards in conjunction with the management team.
*Managing compliance requirements of off-site storage facilities used by the company.
*Management of all aspects of SEDEX, Stronger Together, RRT etc.
*Managing the internal audit schedule, co-ordinating the audit team and corrective actions.
*Performing site audits and working with the management team to improve site standards
*Monitoring all aspects of food safety and ensuring the business is kept up to date with all and any developments in our sector.
*Overseeing of all COSHH protocols.
*Providing cover for the Quality Manager when required.
*Monitoring and management of site hygiene procedures and results in conjunction with department managers and contractors.
*Supplier management and approval processes.

The ideal candidate will be have a background and knowledge of the UK Food industry and expected to have extensive experience of the implementation of BRC and related technical subjects.
